A major peak in the Thesk Mountains seems to have undergone a seismic event of catastrophic proportions.  On the evening of Ches 1, a spectacular fiery event seemed to take place here.  Witnesses from Phent and Phsant reported seeing the sky turn red, and some claim to have seen "fire in the sky".

Miners at the Onyx, Beryl, and East mines reported tremors, and claim to have seen huge gouts of magma ejected on the horizon.

No reports as to the exact nature of the incident have made it back to civilization yet.
