This trail cuts north to where it meets with the Golden Way slightly over one mile distant.  The distance to Phent is ten miles, which can be walked to and back in most of a day.  On horseback the ride to Phent and back is less than half a day (making errands easy), and an experienced rider can make a round trip in less than two hours.
