The area in the center of Phent, immediately in front of the imposing Hath-Cruig Arena, turns into a bustling center of activity on Tenday of each ride. Farmers from the outlying villas pour into the city to sell the freshest procuce available. Carts of beets, lettuce, potatos, tomatos, eggplant... corn... whatever is in season are being sold at great deals.
Many local vendors come to set up shop for the day as well, selling bread, or cheese, or sausage-in-a-bun. Travelling merchants show up with Waterdhavian trade goods, exquisite elven wine, or mysterious Thavian trinkets. Weavers bring out rugs, musicians play for coin, and travelling players perform their act.
Children frolic and play both in the street, as well as in the arena, which is open for play and sport year round. You wander the square admiring wares, examining produce, and taking in the sounds of the busiest day in Nyth.
