This building lies on the sunny side of the block, near the turn where
You walk through the swinging door to find yourself amongst several rows
of shelves. Each row of shelves is
populated by particular types of items.
Bread of many types, made at local bakeries, lie along the wooden
planks. A number of bins of spices
occupy another shelf, at the end of which is the counter that Bendigan Grini,
the halfling grocer that owns the establishment, waits at during the day. Adjacent to that counter are several
racks from which hang many cuts of pork, lamb, beef, and game
meat.
You stroll back up another row of shelves, upon which rest wrapped strips
of jerky, opposite the rows of bland rations adventurers use. The east alcove of the business is
decorated with garlands and dried flowers, beneath which are several elevated
troughs bearing locally grow fruits and vegetables. Nearby, jars of preserves, nuts, and
pickled vegetables occupy yet another shelf. On the opposite side of the room from
this, as you complete your self guided tour, you notice wheels and wedges of
several kinds of cheese, all created at local dairies. Eggs and milk are stored inn deep bins
of cool water nearby.
Near the exits, a small display of iron pots, pans, plates and
silverware is arranged.
You can buy most types of bread, cheese, fruits, vegetables, nuts,
meats, spices, jerky, eggs, milk, and rations here.
