The workshop itself is located further back on the lot than most craft houses on Magpie Lane.  A trail of pavers leads across a bushy lawn to a medium sized thatched cottage, which is shaded by many trees.  Three birdbaths are in heavy use in front of the cottage, the birds themselves making more noise than the sets of wood and metal wind chimes hanging from the eaves of the building.

The scent of fresh leather and tanning oil pierces the air here.  Hides are stretched across every spare inch of wall space here, and through an open portal leading to the space behind the building you can see this only scratches the surface.  Hides of many types of animals are being cured here, but most of the material is leather.

A cluttered and disorganized assortment of leather crafts are strewn about the room.  A few saddles and a set of leather barding are heaped in one corner, next to a pile of pouches and backpacks.  Many suits of leather armor are on display, some of which are most certainly master quality.  An assortment of other items, such as scroll cases, whips, water skins, and jerkins lie in another pile near the center of the room.  A rack of belts, breeches, and tunics leans precariously against the west wall.

Kreden Danis Halfmoon, the half-elf who owns and operates the tanners business, appears to be excellent at wheat he does, if he is somewhat disorganized.  He spends most of his time in the back, handling his hides, and comes to the front only to assist customers.  He appears rather aged for a half elf, with graying hair and etched skin.  He still smiles warmly at all of his visitors.
