Phoenix House

 (6)

ThePhoenix House takes up the face of one block alongMagpie Lane.  This oddly shaped building is definitely not constructed of this regions architecture.  The roof of this building descends in a series of four tiers, one for each floor.  The edges of each tier curve upward and terminate at sharp edges and points.  The odd building is painted in clashing colors of emerald green and lavender.  A stone path leads to the main door, upon which is carved a displayed phoenix wreathed in fire.

You enter the building and notice that the interior looks much like any normal regional tavern.  One large square beam marks the center of the room, around which the bar is placed.  Further out from the center are plentiful tables, an in the southeast corner of the room is the lodging table, staffed by Penwen Drew, a notorious local Halfling who owns the inn.

The three walls opposite the main entrance contain alcoves with spiral staircases leading upwards to the three floors of rooms.

The crowd in this tavern seems to be diverse.  Local farmers are sipping mead at some tables, while traveling merchants chew on their meals at other.  Scattered between them are a few adventurers, and a few local crafters.  A young male human and a female Halfling scurry between the tables, serving food and beverage and accepting tips.

Food and lodging are priced as in the PHB.
